What to expect
Appointments are individualised and you will be with the physiotherapist for the full length of your appointment time.
The appointment will include a full history taking, physical examination and appropriate treatment techniques.
Your unique requirements will be discussed and treatment directed towards achieving your goals.
Appointments involve
Education of condition and treatment options explained
Postural and movement assessment
Appropriate external musculoskeletal assessment and/or pelvic floor internal assessment
Goal setting with regards to assessment findings
Manual therapy
Self-management skills
Home program
Pelvic Floor
PF muscle training (either strengthening or relaxing)
Vaginal pessary fitting
Functional home program
